25 Years In: Less Thought Leader. More Thought Follower.

If the last 25 years have taught me anything, it’s this — we have plenty of thought leaders in the world. What we might need more of… are thought followers.

People who see an idea worth chasing — and chase it.
People who hear a perspective — and listen to it.
People who watch someone take a risk — and cheer them on.
As IMAGEHAUS turns 25, I’ve been reflecting less on what we’ve taught, and more on what we’ve learned.
The truth is: this place exists because of other people’s ideas.
Clients with bold visions.
Collaborators with creative sparks.
Brands willing to take a chance.
And people — lots of people — who showed me new ways of seeing things.
That’s what being a thought follower looks like.
You spot something meaningful — and instead of moving past it, you move toward it.
That’s how brands are built.
That’s how relationships grow.
That’s how 25 years go by in what feels like the blink of an eye.
So here’s to the next 25.
More listening.More curiosity.More chasing after good ideas — whether they’re ours or someone else’s.
Because following a good idea with heart and intention? That’s leadership too.
