All Seasons Wild Bird Store
Our complete brand audit strategically positions All Seasons Wild Bird Store as a destination for backyard birders and wildlife watchers — year around. We refreshed the entire brand experience through everything from the logo and gift cards to shopping bags, store signage and new packaging for the private label birdseed.

Reinvent a local retail chain. The Wild Bird Store approached us for a brand refresh and a new name. After a brand audit, we recommended that instead of changing their name, they should own the name they already had. From that position, we developed a fresh and inspired new identity that truly is "all things birds, for all seasons."

A bird on the bag is worth two in the bush. We created this bag duo to elevate the brand and remind customers that they will not receive this kind of hip, urban caché from any other bird specialty shops in town.

Kuhlman Company
Our rapport with this Anglo-Italian inspired clothing retailer yielded a complete collar-to-cuff brand makeover. We created an icon and "cable K" pattern for everything from gift cards to point-of-sale.

Extend the brand through consumer touchpoints We breathed life into the Kuhlman brand by extending the Anglo-Italian look we had created to hangtags, shirt-size charts, gift card systems and in-store signage.

Tie it all together We created a tie envelope to serve as gift packaging and give customers the sense of quality they have come to expect from Kuhlman.

A box fit for a Kuhlman shirt How do you create a refined yet economical shirt box? Sometimes simpler is better. We had the printer emboss the prestigious Italian-inspired logo we had created as the box was being die-cut.

Two for the price of one. Kuhlman was looking for a coupon to give to potential investors, vendors and friends. Through savvy design we were able to give them a diecut free shirt coupon as well as table tents to advertise the stores in food courts of shopping malls.

Remember the brand. We created this fun little giveaway to keep the Kuhlman shirt patterns in front of the consumer. While the obvious use is a memory game, the game pieces also introduced customers to shirt patterns they might not have noticed before and helped them coordinate their wardrobe.

A brand to stand up for. We created this colorful pattern, which was extended into Kuhlman's annual flip flop design. These were a hit with customers.

Who is lonely? Kuhlman, a fine shirt shop, was launching its Standards line. We created these in-store promotions, inspired by newspaper personal ads, to introduce customers to this staple line of shirts.

Napa Jack’s
Napa Jack’s had everything that you would expect from a wine, beer and spirits boutique — except the snobbery. We took a full-bodied approach to create a hip, warm and charismatic identity system, direct mail, packaging, gift cards and in-store point of sale.

Bring a wine shop to life. This identity is for a neighborhood wine and spirits shop without all the snobbery. The color palette, derived from sun-saturated nature and wine colors gives a warm and tantalizing taste to the new brand. Patterns derived from wine glasses and bottles were created to bring some fun to the table.

Let the people know. Utilizing the anti wine-snobbery tone and fun graphic patterns, we created a direct mail campaign to let the neighborhood know there was now a wine shop that fits their life right in their backyard.

Carry your wine in style. No plain brown paper bags found here. These wine carriers show customers that this shop is willing to go the extra mile to enhance their buying experience.

Reinvent a category. Tom Schmidt — an icon in the salon and spa industry — was launching a new five-star spa experience offering unprecedented services and amenities. We created the positioning platform, Zen-inspired brand name, clean contemporary logo and business system.

Extend the brand through consumer touchpoints. Pagoda is a gift of immense and intimate proportions, represented with a gift card system including multiple variations

A new kind of religion. A direct mail campaign introduced Pagoda in the marketplace. The goal was to entice people to convert to Pagoda's definition of a spa — a new religion, if you will.

Extend the brand through consumer touchpoints. Personalized guest interactions are an integral part of the premium experience at Pagoda. Our thank you card system introduced a brand pattern reminiscent of this premium caché.

A new kind of religion. To launch Pagoda, an advertising campaign was created to extend awareness and position Pagoda as the place for salvation in this world.

Creating a Schmidty Brand. This hip barbershop experience—damn nice haircuts, manly rubdowns and no-frills pricing—was translated into a distinct brand voice and identity system.

A brochure just for men. We created a family of logos inspired by beer, sports and cigars, then translated these into a series of beer coasters with services and pricing on the reverse. The result is a brochure chock-full of testosterone.
